Issue 9 Open Call has now opened - we are welcoming ideas until 31 January 2026

We welcome you to participate in our free open call for submissions of interest for future feature commissions.

We are looking for new photographic ideas which you may like to develop in the pages of our next magazine. This is for our next issue planned for October 2026.

Please fill out the short form on the right or drop us a separate email to the same place at editors@hapaxmagazine.com

Please include:

1. Paragraph of background on your practice

2. A brief description of the new idea you’d like to start on the pages of HAPAX, or the project you’d like to see published here for the first time - and importantly - how is this a departure from your practice?

3. Link to your website, and any initial images of the new project idea if these already exist

Deadline for submissions is 31 January 2026.

We will acknowledge receipt of all emails and get back to everyone after the selection of issue 9 commissions in early February.
